Christmas Party

Dearest family and friends- Merry Christmas! I hope you are all having a wonderful Christmas season! To update you: I just finished my last day of teaching, and am sitting in bed at 2 am. writing what may be my last post for awhile. Tomorrow morning I check out- and we are off to travel around Taiwan for a week until we leave for Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore! I am really excited! I can't believe how quickly the time here has flown by! Has it really been six months since I boarded a plane bound for Taiwan? I am grateful for the experiences I have had here- and I love, love, love Taiwan and its people!
Last week we had our Christmas party that included a dance. All our kids (with the exception of the youngest) had to learn how to waltz. Some openly loved the dancing- some secretly loved it while outwardly denying any such enjoyment, and some openly hated it! It was really fun to watch the different reactions- especially with my kids! It took them by surprise when after a month of grumbling- they found that they really enjoyed the Christmas party. They got to watch part of a Christmas movie, eat food, meet Santa, and finish off with a dance! We also threw in a surprise fast dance- Sorry Sorry by Super Junior- and all the kids know the moves to this dance... as do I! Here are some pictures that capture the night for me!

Some of the boys had really nice suits! They were adorable!

Tom really loved the dancing!

My adorable basic reading class

Elva and Elvis are so cute!

Jerry really had to concentrate hard!

Even some of the kindergartners got to dance!
