This is Lindsay and I at the airport.
This is my school: Berhan Language Institute- We live on the forth floor.
This is the back courtyard and those are our bikes- you will also see lots of laundry hanging out to dry. That is how we have to do it in our laundry room- no driers.
This is me on the toilet showing off our toilet paper- which also doubles for napkins and papertowels!
This is my students toilet- good thing they also have regular sizes for us big kids.
This is my bed, with mosquito net- though I haven't had to use it yet-luckily!
This is in our kitchen. Taiwanese are very big on recycling- therefore why not have six garbage cans right!?!
This street is a few blocks away from our school. There are movie theaters and a mall and lots of shops! The moped drivers are crazy here- and they cram as many on the scooter as they can. I have seen parents with small children in front and in back of them! They also love pale skin, so they will wear large oven-mits over their hands to protect their skin. It is pretty funny!
All the tile on the walls brings back memories from my mission. Hope you are having a great time and keep the pictures and posts coming.
ReplyDeleteLove the pictures! Hope your first week of teaching goes well. I hate to say it but I am totally jealous of your little adventure in Taiwan! Keep it real!
ReplyDeleteSure, now you take a bunch of pictures ;) Looks like you're having a fun time though!
